BASIC SECURITY TRAINING
Our priority as a licensed security agency is to ensure that you successfully complete & obtain your Ontario Security Guard License. Our trainers work with you every step of the way to guide you through the process, providing all information & tools for your success. We provide the option to retake any module or attend any class free of charge.
The course syllabus to obtain security guard license in Ontario includes:

ONTARIO BASIC SECURITY GUARD TRAINING
IN-CLASS PROGRAM

Our in-class Security Training program spans 40 hours, catering to all learning styles. For those who prefer structured, interactive learning experiences – our in-class program is ideal option.
G.I.R’s Security Training course is available on a weekly basis, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at our Head Office in Toronto. We ensure that our course availability meets the demands of our clients, offering convenience and flexibility for all our learners.
ONLINE PROGRAM

Our in-class Security Training program spans 40 hours, catering to all learning styles. For those who prefer structured, interactive learning experiences – our in-class program is ideal option.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID
Our First Aid/ CPR training is provided by Red Cross Certified Instructors. The courses may include the combination of online and in-person learning. The In-person section will take place at the head office located in Markham.
If you currently carry a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate, provide the certificate to our administrator after registering for the Basic Security Training Program.
OBTAINING A SECURITY LICENSE
Upon successful completion of the Basic security training, our administrator will assist you with scheduling the test and guide you through the license application process. We ensure that our candidates receive proper support and guidance to be successful in the industry.
